About Me
I am a PGY-5 integrated plastic surgery resident at the University of Pennsylvania. My professional interests include: surgical education, aesthetic surgery, and women’s health. Prior to medical school, I worked in health policy, including serving as the Study Director for a National Academies consensus study on measurement in health care. I also worked in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy under the Obama Administration. I decided to return to school to pursue my MD because I wanted to have the opportunity to care for patients directly.
I grew up in Greenville, South Carolina, and in high school and college, I worked as a professional violinist. My other interests include reading, baking, and personal fitness.
