Skincare for newbies

Plz send this to that friend who is still washing their face with bar soap 📬

No need for a 20-step routine, no need to spend crazy money, and no need to even step inside a Sephora! This is the basic regimen I recommend for anybody looking to get started with skincare. It is 4 things, and they are all available at the drug store for about 15 bucks a piece.

Here’s the deal:

Daytime:

  1. Moisturizer with SPF – Non-negotiable! The sun is the #1 thing making you look older.

Nighttime:

  1. Gentle Cleanser – Take off your SPF along with the rest of your day

  2. Adapalene (Retinoid) – A beginner-friendly retinoid for smoother, younger looking skin and fewer breakouts.

  3. Nighttime Moisturizer – Hydrate your skin while you sleep for a fresh glow in the morning (and help prevent/treat irritation from your retinoid).

Want the specific products that I recommend? Here you go!

Start with this, stay consistent, and see the difference!

Still too much? Find a sunscreen that you will actually use and put it on your face every day. That is the most important thing you need to start doing.

What was your “gateway” skincare product?? Let me know in the comments! ⬇️
